Old Found Mercantile is the passion project of husband and wife duo, Anna and Sean Phillips. As a couple who bonded over their love for thrifting, they saw it as a means to combat fast-fashion from an environmental standpoint, as well as the thrill of hunting the best items they could find. Growing increasingly frustrated of the rising prices at many of the large-scale thrift store chains, Anna and Sean often dreamed about what their ideal thrifting experience would look like in Vancouver - a combination of affordable by-the-pound thrift to dig around for some gems, along with a space to showcase and sell the refined selections of the many vintage curators found in the lower mainland.
